I will always always be in solidarity with prisoners. But I am not sure this is the right way to go about things. The East Gate is a busy place for SQ, and having all these people in the way of people just trying to do their jobs may not be so good. /p> Sending my love to San Quentin. Hope to see the KIDCAT guys again, soon. __________ UPDATE _____________ News from a volunteer who was supposed to be at SQ on Monday: Unfortunately 4,000+ men will spend 24 hours within the confines of an 8 X 4 foot cell without sunshine, exercise, classes, or work - in “lock down” all day on monday because of “occupiers” who never asked prisoners for their opinion and decided to Occupy San Quentin for the great publicity on Presidents Day. The resentment of the prisoners towards the occupiers is strong!

Unfortunately 4,000+ men will spend 24 hours within the confines of an 8 X 4 foot cell without sunshine, exercise, classes, or work - in “lock down” all day on monday because of “occupiers” who never asked prisoners for their opinion and decided to Occupy San Quentin for the great publicity on Presidents Day. The resentment of the prisoners towards the occupiers is strong!
